Our trip will include, but not limited too a day trip to Tulum Mayan Ruin and Cenote. Daily yoga and other resort events, and a special Temezcal Healing ceremony followed by 90min in the thermal spas.
The Tulum ruins are an ancient Mayan walled city located on cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea in Mexico. It was one of the last cities built by the Maya, flourishing between the 13th and 15th centuries as a major port and trade hub. The site is known for its well-preserved coastal structures, and its stunning views.
A cenote is a natural sinkhole or freshwater-filled swimming hole that forms when limestone bedrock collapses, exposing groundwater. The Tulum area in Mexico is famous for its cenotes, which were once vital water sources and sacred sites for the ancient Maya.
A temazcal ceremony is an ancient Mesoamerican sweat lodge ritual led by a shaman that uses steam from hot volcanic rocks and medicinal herbs to cleanse the body and spirit. The dome-shaped structure represents the womb of Mother Earth, and the ceremony is a symbolic journey of rebirth and purification, with goals ranging from physical healing to spiritual renewal and stress relief.
